Mike Bowen ask me to thank everyone for posting a message and thinking of him during his cancer fight.

He’s not posting here anymore but is keeping an eye on the thread and really appreciates your thoughts and prayers. It’s really helped lift his spirits.

Like many guitarists fighting serious illness (cancer in Mike’s case,) playing guitar can become almost impossible, so even that small pleasure is sadly taken away. For those of us that love our guitars and love playing them, it’s a huge loss.

Mike also ask me to thank everyone who remembers his contributions to the LPF over the years, his love of vintage guitars (and wide curl reissues) and all the pics he shared —-many of iconic bursts.

As I say, those of you who still have Mike’s contact info and want to drop him a line/chat, he’d love to hear from you. Posting here is awesome as well.

I remember communicating with Mike when he was briefly on the MLP forums. He was a great guy and very kind as well. I hope that he is doing well now.
