Where do I find these? Seems Gibson has been sold out for awhile now? I thought they were gonna have a section to buy the new custom shop parts but that seems to have not happened?

Yep. Out of stock in the nickel. Can’t tell if they are the new new ones though.

I have the same question, if these are the "new" custom shop ABR-1s that Matt K talked about or just the same ABR-1 they've been selling.

If you look at some custom shop models it's weird, some guitars that might have been in stock for a while have the proper sloped one while other even newer ones won't. Seems really random.

Cause they have a bunch leftover and most don’t give a shit. So install em and hope 9/10 don’t catch it which they’re correct on thinking that way for the most part

No surprise. Just like bobbin colors in the late 50s.

If anyone is interested, I left my factory 2015 th59 bridge at home; I can perform a PMI test on the Four Uncles Bridge and tell you the exact chemical composition of the metal used on that bridge

Unsure of 2023+ bridge ? But pre 2023, it wasn’t correct. I installed a FU and found it to be better. But I don’t have anything to compare it to? I’m 3 hrs away from home and only one bridge with me

They are not available in the Netherlands for months now. What type of bridge is factory installed on the 2009 R9 please? And is it the same for all historics ?
Is this the right type?

Yes that’s correct. Should be the same up until 2023 when Gibson changed the bridges. I think in 2013??? they changed the steel threaded stems to brass? I believe it was 2019 before they changed the thumbwheels to brass. 2023, they changed the shape of the bridge. Unsure if they changed the metal

They released them today. Kinda look the same as the old ones. Bevel on the screw looks a bit much? I bought one but changed my mind and canceled the order since I felt it prob wasn’t gonna be an actual upgrade so to speak

So what changed? More oval shaped ends vs too rounded pre ‘23??
Pretty much it. Appearance is only thing Gibson cares about. TIL ppl bitch enough. Then wait 5 yrs and you’ll get “authentic, most accurate, reversed engineered ABR-1”
