• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

RIP Chuck Berry

The guy who turned me on to guitars.

I was lucky enough to see him live in 1964.

The first ever inductee into the RocknRoll Hall of Fame.

Your music will live on. Rest in peace, my man.

Words like "legend" and "giant" are thrown around rather lightly at times, but they hold true when it comes to Chuck. His impact was and is immense.

RIP, Mr Berry.

+1 well stated.

As Lemmy would say, "I remember before there was rock 'n roll."

Devastating. It was said in "Hail, Hail Rock and Roll" that no one can play lead guitar without first passing through the Chuck Berry portal. I can't disagree. Thank you, Mr. Berry, for setting the bar so high.
