Not shot by me.
There were a couple of low-impedance Les Paul Recording-style guitars at the show. Here's one:Does anyone play a low impedance Lester? Does it require a special amp?
Is that a Waddy Wachtel CC in the back, with a CC01 Gary Moore in front? I can't make out the price of the latter do you recall what it was? There were a couple of low-impedance Les Paul Recording-style guitars at the show. Here's one:
I always associate these guitars with plugging straight into a recording desk. I have no idea what's necessary to plug them into an amp, but there have been a few threads about them at the LPF from time to time.
Quite possibly — I’m pretty sure I remember seeing a Wachtel ‘Burst right around that booth. Is that a Waddy Wachtel CC in the back, with a CC01 Gary Moore in front? I can't make out the price of the latter do you recall what it was?
Thanks.
Thanks. I ask as the CC01A Gary Moore Signature guitars rarely come up for sale. The price in the photo, while not very clear, seems to be much lower than this example.Quite possibly — I’m pretty sure I remember seeing a Wachtel ‘Burst right around that booth.
I only had a few hours there, so I wasn't in "obsessively photograph everything" mode. But seeing a Recording-style guitar in the wild, I had to get a shot.Thanks. Maybe someone else that attended can chime in.

Gibson did make an amp for the Low Impedance Lesters around 1970, It is quite the beast. Very expensive at the time.Does anyone play a low impedance Lester? Does it require a special amp?
