Hendrix, Clapton & Beck still sit on top of the pile for me
Yep Mossy rates high! I'm also an Ed Kuepper admirer. He's an under-rated and very creative strat player.+1 for Ian Moss :dude:
Sonny Landreth another not mentioned yet.
Isn't Brownie on display in Paul Allen's EMP Museum? At least, I'm pretty sure I saw it there around 2003 when first I toured the place, and Wikipedia claims:

Richard Thompson. Cool bends, open drone string leads, *melody*, etc...

I don't mind some Popa Chubby too :hank
A king of Western Swing: Eldon Shamblin. He had a gold '54 up until the end given to him by Leo. He was a "rock star" amongst musicians back in those days in California. If you played with Bob Wills, you were The Shit and Eldon had since the '30s.
Really? I thought he sold it to a "guy with more money than sense"(Eldon's own words IIRC).
My kinda guy:dude:
I don't think anybody's mentioned him in this thread, but I thought Robbie Blunt had some great moments with Robert Plant, and did a great job as Plant's first "replacement" for Jimmy Page.
