THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING!
We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!
I also have this 1980 Heritage 80 les paul bought and owned by Charlie Hargrett from Blackfoot.
He bought it himself for Christmas for the success of the Strikes album.
I have it for sale with some proceeds going to Charlie.
My first concert was Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow in 1976. I was on the floor directly in front of Blackmore and during the encore he smashed three Strats and tossed the remains into the crowd. I had the neck of one in my hands but then somebody from behind grabbed it and started pulling. I had a death grip on it but it disappeared into the crowd. That would have been an awesome souvenir.
